Personal Note: As with my original goal with Inugami Coffee , I still search for unknown producers in order to fet thrm more known and for a chance for people to get to try these amazing coffees. Wush wush being my favorite varietal I had to give this a try. When I saw it scored 90 points I knew it was gonna be special.
Originally from the Wushwush / Kaffa region of Ethiopia (one of the birthplaces of Arabica Coffee) this rare landrace variety has found a beautiful new expression in the southern lands of Tolima. At Finca Monteverde, this coffee has achieved what we consider one of the finest expressions of Wush-Wush planted in Colombia. In the hands of Newerley Gutiérrez, it develops into something truly remarkable.
